European Advanced Aerobatic Championships 2015

We didn't get much time to post during the contest but here is Team GB in our team polo shirts.

A number of us on the team were new to advanced level international competitions so we know there was a lot to learn. It was excellent training for the world championships next year we just didn't want to embaress ourselves.

It was a steep learning curve (as we expected) but we really learnt a lot! The step up internationally at this level is quite significant. We all put in some good fights and some less so. My best placing was 16 (out of 46) with both Mike and I finishing mid-field overall. Thanks to the contest organisers for organising everything and to everyone else who helped us make it to the contest. The closing party was held at this amazing castle! It really was a fantastic venue for such an occasion...don't you think?
