And so it begins...

The season kicked off with a competition at Breighton airfield at the weekend. We often seem to have poor weather for this first event of the year (with it being rained off completely a few times). Unfortunately this year was no exception and we were unable to make the trip to Yorkshire on the Friday or Saturday as originally planned.

However Sunday saw the rain subside and so we made the early trip up north in the hope that the weather would improve. After a number of hours sitting around (with little hope of getting a competition out of it) suddenly we had a reported cloud base of high enough and we were away. Unfortunately we only time time for the one flight but good to get the season underway.
